Trying My Hand at Wire-Wrapping!

Wire wrapping jewellery has been one of the things on my stuff-to-learn-but-never-found-the-time list for a long time. I got the idea to start trying when I needed to get a birthday present and a farewell gift for two of my ex-colleagues! I have some fluorite points that I bought some time ago so I decided to use those to start wire wrapping. I must say that for my first time I think the results looked pretty good!

This one was the birthday gift for a dear friend of mine!

Yellow-green Fluorite point with a simpler wrap, butterfly bail and Margarita glass charm

Farewell gift for an ex-colleague leaving Singapore

I think I could do better on the top part where the wires have to cross to form the bail, both of the pendants were a lil messy on the top! However, I am quite encouraged by the results and determined to improve... some wire wrapped pendants may just be on the way to my shop soon! =D
